Osama has wide-ranging experience across the development, stabilisation, humanitarian aid, technology, disaster risk reduction and migrant/refugee protection fields, working on behalf of international organisations and UN agencies. He recently trained Libyan medical staff at blood banks on data management and communication, to help improve the public’s access to high quality blood products and strengthen the Ministry of Health’s systems for overseeing critical, national health data. Earlier in his career Osama operated for over 10 years as a Libyan civil society activist with expertise in adolescent development, protection and participation.
Osama holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Tripoli, Libya.
